The star of “Horizon: An American Saga” hints at an imminent release for the upcoming Western sequel, titled “Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 2”. In a conversation with ScreenRant, Furhman suggested that the follow-up is approaching quickly. She also shared some feedback from the audience when the original film debuted at the 81st Venice International Film Festival in September.
Last year in June, the first installment of “Horizon: An American Saga” hit the screens, with director, actor, and Hollywood legend [Name] having three more films lined up. However, unexpectedly, the release date for “Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 2,” initially set for August 16, 2024, has been pushed back to some point in 2025. Fortunately, as reported by Isabelle Fuhrman, fans likely won’t have to wait too much longer before they can dive back into the “Horizon” storyline…
I anticipate it will arrive quite soon, though updates about its progress seem scant. As of now, I haven’t received any news. In similar situations, actors are often the last to be informed. However, we were fortunate enough to premiere it at Venice, and getting to watch it with an audience was a unique experience – it was my first time seeing the film, and I found it wonderful. I can hardly wait for others to see it too! This movie, in particular, stirs such excitement within me because it’s a project where so much heart and passion were poured into its creation.
Will the Four Planned Movies in the ‘Horizon’ Saga Be Released?
Isabelle Fuhrman hasn’t received any news about the release date of Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 2, but she is optimistic that it will be out soon. As Diamond Kittredge in the Horizon films, alongside Kevin Costner, Fuhrman joins a talented ensemble cast including Sienna Miller, Sam Worthington, Giovanni Ribisi, Jamie Campbell Bower, Luke Wilson, Thomas Haden Church, Jena Malone, Alejandro Edda, Tatanka Means, Michael Rooker, and others.
Under the joint efforts of Kevin Costner as co-writer, producer, director, and lead actor, the production Horizon: An American Saga delves into the allure of the Old West, tracing its conquest and eventual demise through the hardships endured by numerous individuals. Over a four-year timespan encompassing the Civil War from 1861 to 1865, Costner envisions an epic cinematic journey. Last November, he disclosed that he is still dedicated to bringing all four episodes of this ambitious project to life.
As a film aficionado, I’m yearning, I’m imagining, I’m connecting with all the wealthy individuals we frequently hear about – they seem to be lurking in the background. I haven’t quite figured out how, but I’m determined to get there and create my fourth masterpiece. If you want to call it a wrap at that point, then so be it. It’s my own personal cinematic UFO. I’ve witnessed it, and I will never forget it, and I’ll continue to chase it as long as I can. … I’m working on finding a way to share with you installments 3 and 4, because you’ve experienced the first one, and we’re all going on a journey together towards the second, and eventually, we’ll venture westward.
Currently, you can catch Isabelle Fuhrman in the romantic drama “Wish You Were Here“, and she’s set to return to her role in “Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 3“.
