How to emote – Elden Ring Nightreign

In the tradition of FromSoftware games, emotes are effectively utilized for player interaction, and Elden Ring Nightreign follows suit. If you’d prefer to taunt another Nightfarer rather than assisting them after they’ve been knocked down, here’s how you can pull off an unhelpful gesture instead.

How to emote in Elden Ring Nightreign

In Elden Ring Nightreign, expressing emotions can be done by accessing the main menu. You can do this by pressing the menu button on your controller (like the Xbox or PlayStation buttons) or using the Esc key if you’re playing on a PC. On the right side of the screen, you’ll find an icon representing gestures with a labeled button next to it. For Xbox, it’s the Y button, for PlayStation, it’s Triangle. If you’re playing on PC using an unideal control method, simply hover your cursor over the icon and click when it becomes active.

When you click on the emote menu, you’ll find a collection of icons representing each available emote at your disposal. Simply select the one you prefer, and your character will perform it accordingly. To expand your emote library, make your way to the Small Jar Bazaar located in the book-lined corridor on the west side of Roundtable Hold. You can purchase additional emotes from him, with his stock increasing throughout the game. Additionally, I believe there might be some emotes hidden within secrets and quests across the game. If any do exist, rest assured we’ll find them and compile a list for you right here.
