In the game Avowed, when you converse with an NPC to initiate either a main or side mission, a marker is typically displayed guiding you towards the quest location. You may need to explore the surroundings a bit, but the game generally assists you in completing it. However, there’s one kind of mission where this guidance won’t be provided.

In this adventure, you’ll be tasked with locating distinct fragments of totems hidden throughout the primary zones. For Dawnshore, the related quest is known as “Totem of Rightful Rule,” where you will search for a total of seven parts of the Scales of the Oathbringer within it.

Where To Find Clues About The Fragments

As a passionate adventurer, I embark on the Totem of Rightful Rulership quest whenever I unearth one of the seven scattered fragments across the realm. Once the journey begins, the quest description is merely an optional hint about the whereabouts of the remaining fragments. Unlike other quests, there won’t be a guiding marker to lead me to this clue, making it a thrilling and rewarding challenge to uncover.

To obtain the document containing riddles, navigate your way into Paradis city and proceed towards the northern region. Once you reach there, look for Sanza’s Emporium. Among Sanza’s collection of items, you will discover the document that offers a riddle for each one. However, it comes with a price tag of 500 local currency.

Sanza may not assist you presently unless you first complete the “Mapping The Living Lands” side quest from him, which is located in the western region of Dawnshore.

In Dawnshore, Northern Paradis, the fragment is most easily located as it’s mentioned in an enigma that suggests it can be found within an emporium, and there’s only one such establishment. Upon entering Sanza’s Shop, take note that the door to your left, where he usually stands, leads to where the fragment can be discovered.

To obtain the totem fragment, you’ll need to travel a fair distance since it is located within the Pargrun Cache situated in Dawnshore’s central north region. Access the buildings from the north by detonating some explosive barrels first. Upon entry, you’ll find a series of wooden platforms and parkour challenges that will guide your path further inside.

At certain point, you’ll need to avoid some hidden sword traps for progression. Following that, you’ll encounter a road block with a building on your left, obscured by fallen tree limbs. If you peer through the branches, you’ll spot some explosive barrels in the corner of the room on your left side. Knock over these barrels and navigate around to enter via the destructible wall they once stood.

Ultimately, ascend a few additional wooden decks within this chamber, followed by a few leaps onto the stone formations outside, will lead you to this piece.

Golden Scale Of Justice Location

It’s quite challenging to locate the Golden Scale of Justice in Dawnshore, but here’s a hint: You can find it hidden within the city of Paradis. To access it, first teleport to the Administration District Beacon inside the city and then proceed north until you reach the Northern Paradis door. Once you’re there, leap towards the green area on your right side for further progress.

Continue progressing until you surpass the boundary, where you’ll find a balcony adorned with an artist’s canvas. Proceed inside the adjacent room, and there you’ll notice some ladders on the left side. At this point, you’ll encounter Phantom adversaries that you must overcome to gain access to the fragment located within the room.

Golden Plaque Of Oaths Location

To reach the location you need, head towards the Usher’s Hand region situated to the east of Paradis. On the map, you’ll notice a pair of tiny ponds nestled along its northern boundary – that’s where you’ll come across the Golden Plaque of Oaths.

Just swim into the larger southern pond, then swim deeper to discover a narrow passageway. This hidden way will lead you across the pond, where you’ll come upon the piece resting on the same fabric as those you encountered earlier.

Golden Plaque Of Promises Location

As you step into Claviger’s Landing for the first time, turning to your left, one of the sights that will catch your eye is the distinctive silhouette of the Lighthouse situated southwest of Dawnshore. Upon reaching this landmark, look out for a series of ladders that will guide you towards some wooden structures nestled beside its walls.

Once you’ve ascended the stairs, continue by leaping over small wooden platforms. At a certain stage, you’ll need to walk back onto a higher platform and leap up to the next one. Additionally, as you approach the fragment, you’ll need to make a jump towards the left side of the structure. In due course, you’ll find a gap in the Lighthouse wall with the fragment inside when you’ve jumped over it.

Golden Flames Location

To get to Castol’s Folly island, located southeast of Paradis, be aware that it is inhabited by challenging mobs. It would be wise to upgrade your weapons before venturing there.
