As a seasoned Star Wars Outlaws player with years of credits spent and lessons learned the hard way, let me share my insights about Gorak’s Suite on Toshara.
At the beginning of Star Wars Outlaws, you’ll find yourself needing to secretly enter Gorak’s private room on the planet Toshara. This room is located upstairs in Makal’s gaming den, and while it may seem like there are multiple paths to get there, only one true approach will help you slip inside undetected.
As soon as you step into Makal’s bar, there’s a character who boasts about offering VIP passes for Gorak’s private area.
Whatever you do, don’t buy this.
This Non-Player Character (NPC) is actually a deceitful individual who will ask for 50 Credits from you under false pretenses. Interestingly, there’s a completely free means to reach your goal, and moreover, the VIP invite they offer is faulty – not only will it fail to grant you access, but you may even end up being ridiculed by the bouncer if you attempt to use it.
If you do purchase the VIP invite by accident, there’s no way to get those 50 Credits back. Trust me, I learned the hard way.
If you’re willing to part with some credits, there’s a straightforward method available for you to gain access to Gorak’s Suite through an unconventional means.
Once you enter Makal’s bar, move towards the right side and locate a passageway that branches off from the main room. On your left, you’ll notice a technician tinkering with an access panel next to a door. Approach the technician for a chat, and they’ll present you with an option to bribe them. The cost is 150 Credits.
Once you’ve paid off the technician, they’ll grant you access to the room where you can find a workstation. Solve the Slicing riddle to gain control of the computer and then summon the elevator using the Turbolift call function.
After completing the task, make your way towards the primary lounge area and glance to your right. There, you’ll find the Turbolift door standing open. Step inside and it will whisk you directly to Gorak’s private quarters.
You can enter Gorak’s Suite without charge under certain conditions…
I successfully entered by moving towards the back-left corner of the bar, passing through a door and circumnavigating the outdoor balcony. Subsequently, I made my way indoors to a storage room where I discovered a vent (Please note that in your scenario, the screenshot was taken post infiltration of Gorak’s suite; the boxes you see won’t be there for you as they were likely moved after the security flaw was addressed).
Upon arrival, I unlocked the hatch and descended into it. A stairway leads directly to the level just above Makal’s bar.
After you walk into the elevator that’s there, it will take you directly to Gorak’s Suite.
Completing either of the outlined approaches will conclude the ‘Underworld’ mission for you. Upon successful completion, you’ll receive Gorak’s Ring as a reward. We’ll discuss how to use that item in a different tutorial later on.
