How to change characters in Elden Ring Nightreign

In both single-player and multiplayer modes, you have the option to switch between characters. However, the mechanics behind this change are subtly distinct. Here, we’ll discuss the process specifically designed for single-player gameplay.

When playing alone, you can swap between characters. The way this works might be a bit different compared to multiplayer, but let’s focus on how it applies when you’re playing by yourself.

In the main room at Roundtable Hold, turn your gaze towards an area opposite The Priestess. There, you’ll spot a suit of armor adorned with a golden bell and a shield. Give the golden bell a tap, and it will reveal the character selection menu. From there, you may pick the character you prefer to control.

After making your selection, your character will transform into the newly chosen one. Proceed to embark on a Solo Journey with this updated character. Additionally, feel free to customize each character’s look by adjusting their outfits or skins.

In a multiplayer setting, initiate an Expedition by engaging with the Roundtable. It’s important to note that once every player has connected, a character selection screen will appear. You can pick your character at this point, but be cautious about letting the timer run out as you might end up with a character that wasn’t your preferred choice, assigned automatically if time expires.

After completing a multiplayer adventure, the character you previously chose will head back to Roundtable Hold.
