Complete the Treasure Hunter’s Side Quest
To uncover the hidden finale, you need to finish the Treasure Hunter’s additional mission in Chapter 3 initially
Adventure begins as soon as you encounter the Treasure Hunter, who is under attack by foes close to the North Shore of Bitter Lake Keeper’s Shrine
Following his rescue, the Treasure Hunter moves to various spots on numerous occasions. Your task is to trail him until he arrives at the Melon Field Caretaker’s Sanctuary. Ultimately, when you encounter the green-hatted Martial Artist, the journey concludes
Defeat the Secret Area Bosses
The upcoming stage requires you to conquer four elusive bosses, strategically located in concealed regions within different parts of the game
- In Chapter 1, you’ll need to ring three bells to access the hidden boss Elder Jinchi.
- In Chapter 2, you’ll need to complete the Request of the Drunken Boar before confronting the secret boss, Fuban.
- In Chapter 4, you’ll have to defeat the Venom Daoist.
- In Chapter 5, you will face the secret boss, Bishui Golden-Eyed Beast (unlocked after you complete the Five Cart side quest.)
Taking down these bosses is crucial to progress towards the secret ending.
Travel to the Great Pagoda Realm
Once you’ve finished the steps previously mentioned, make your way to Chapter 3’s New West Region, specifically the Great Pagoda Realm. To get there, use the fast-travel option at the Snow-Veiled Trail Keeper’s Shrine. Then, walk down the slope and cross a wooden bridge
Continue forward until you reach a large hall, the Great Pagoda.
As you ascend the stairs, you’ll meet a Non-Player Character connected to the Treasure Hunter Quest. Engaging with this character triggers a scene, and in doing so, you’ll uncover a secret location called Mount Mei
Defeat Erlang Shen and the Four Heavenly Kings
At Mount Mei, you’ll fight one of the toughest bosses in Black Myth: Wukong—Erlang Shen.
After defeating him, a cutscene will play. In this scene, Erlang Shen morphs into a beastly form and allies with the Four Heavenly Kings. From that moment on, it’s your turn to take control of the Stone Monkey, tasked with overcoming five adversaries simultaneously
Final Battle and True Ending
At the concluding stage, you return to Mount Huaguo for a showdown against the Stone Monkey and the Shattered Vessel of the Great Sage. Once they are vanquished, you’ll unveil the hidden ending of the game that includes significant instances from Journey to the West
