This action-packed extravaganza, masterfully directed by Ayan Mukerji, has already piqued everyone’s interest. What makes it even more intriguing is the recent news that international stunt directors have joined the team to choreograph a spectacular climax scene.
As a lifestyle expert, I’m excited to share some inside scoop: According to recent reports, I’ve learned that director Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR are set to film the climax scenes starting mid-December! Over a 15-day schedule, they’ll be capturing the epic final showdown at Film City in Goregaon and YRF Studios in Andheri, from the second week of December onwards. Can’t wait to see these stars shine on screen!
At Film City, a large set modeled after Jr NTR’s hideout is being constructed, while scenes requiring close-ups and heavy VFX effects will be filmed at YRF Studios. Initially designed by the late Rajat Poddar, only the backdrop for the climax was left unfinished. Producer Aditya Chopra, along with Ayan Mukerji, is now overseeing both the design and execution of this set, as well as the action sequences.
Beyond what’s already been mentioned, the report also disclosed that the producer-director pair have chosen three renowned action directors. Specifically, director Adi selected Spiro Razatos, a well-known American stunt coordinator who previously worked on Venom (2018) and The Fate of the Furious (2017), as well as Se-yeong Oh, known for his work in Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015) and Snowpiercer (2013).
Additional information was shared about Sunil Rodrigues joining the team following his notable contributions in Shah Rukh Khan’s films Pathaan and Jawan. Together with the rest of the group, they are now working on an aesthetically pleasing fight scene that incorporates hand-to-hand combat. As per the latest update, the filming of War 2’s dialogue scenes is scheduled to be completed in December.
Beyond what’s already mentioned, the report asserts that Aditya and Ayan are collaborating with Vaibhavi Merchant on a dance competition between Roshan and Jr NTR. Furthermore, they have scheduled a song sequence starring Hrithik and Kiara Advani for shooting in January.
