Actress Hrithik Roshan’s sibling, Sunaina Roshan, has candidly discussed a challenging phase in her past when she was battling an alcohol addiction. In a heartfelt chat with News18 Showsha, Sunaina recounted a poignant moment from her 28-day residential treatment, where she had a passionate disagreement with Hrithik over her desire to return home.

Sunaina disclosed that while she was there, the rules were very strict and only family members could phone. It was during one of these conversations that she became overwhelmed and broke down. She remembered arguing and shouting at her brother, expressing her desire to go home immediately. However, Hrithik remained resolute. He explained that she needed to complete her course first before she could return home.

She recalled him standing firm when he informed their family that she needed to remain at the treatment center to ensure proper recovery. Reportedly, he said something along the lines of “Let her stay there, let her endure these hardships because it’s only through this process that she’ll emerge stronger.” As Sunaina recounts, it was a challenging time for her, yet she now recognizes the significance of that choice in facilitating her healing process.

Sunaina Roshan additionally noted that Hrithik was her most significant advocate throughout her recovery period. Even though he is older, she frequently seeks his approval and holds him in high esteem. What consistently impresses her about him are his dedication, reliability, and hard work, which have always been evident.

Sunaina discussed that she refuses to let knee problems hinder her. Whether it’s dancing or wrapping up a shoot, she perseveres with determination. It was evident that Sunaina’s path to recovery was difficult, but Hrithik’s encouragement for her to undergo rehabilitation appears to have greatly facilitated her advancement.
