Hugh Jackman Announces 12-Show Residency at Radio City Music Hall

As a gamer who has spent countless hours immersed in the worlds created by Hugh Jackman’s on-screen characters and stage performances, this news is nothing short of exhilarating! With a career that spans from Wolverine to P.T. Barnum, his talent knows no bounds.

Hugh Jackman will perform a 12-concert residency at Radio City Music Hall in 2025.

The show titled “From New York With Love” is set to debut on January 24, 2025. It will feature one weekend of performances every month from April through July. The last performances are planned for August 15 and 16.

Jackman shared the news on social media alongside Ryan Reynolds, his co-star from Deadpool and Wolverine. He mentioned that it was approximately two years ago when Reynolds initially announced they’d be starring in this movie. In a joking manner, he added that Reynolds wouldn’t be involved in this particular project. The film has already surpassed $1 billion in global box office sales and signifies Jackman’s comeback to his iconic role after a seven-year hiatus.

Jackman expressed that it was an exceptional period in his life, as he and Ryan embarked on an incredible journey together. Intrigued about the future, he poses a question to Ryan: ‘Would you like to join me for one of my live shows at Radio City Music Hall?’

Beyond his role as Wolverine, Jackman has also taken on leading roles in musical films like “The Greatest Showman” and “Les Misérables”. On stage, he’s starred in revivals of “Oklahoma!”, “Carousel”, and the recent Broadway revival of “The Music Man”, as well as “The Boy From Oz”, “The River” and “A Steady Rain”.

Additionally, he directed the global tours for “The Man. The Music. The Show” in 2019 and “Hugh Jackman: Back on Broadway” in 2011.
