Wow, that documentary about John Williams’ music was truly amazing! It really brought home the significance and talent of this artist. And as for your question, it’s a tough one. But today, I find myself humming the Superman theme – it’s just stuck in my head. As for Star Wars and E.T., they are definitely at the top of the list. And let’s not forget about the little Harry Potter theme – it’s an iconic masterpiece! However, choosing a favorite piece from his vast repertoire would be extremely difficult, if not impossible. I’d only do it under very serious circumstances.
He’s not wrong. When you start to drill down into John Williams’ filmography, you will uncover most of your favorite movies. And his music ends up being a main reason why the films are such a success. That’s why he has a whopping total of 54 Oscar nominations. 54!!! Take that, Meryl Streep.
