As a lifelong admirer of Martha Stewart and her impeccable lifestyle, I must say that her dedication to her Christmas tree farm is nothing short of inspiring. Growing up with those artificial trees adorned with pre-strung lights, I never knew such devotion to the perfect holiday tree was possible.
During the bustle of the holiday season, numerous individuals are no doubt embracing the festive mood by adorning their homes. One notable figure who consistently takes decorating to new heights is Martha Stewart. At 83, this renowned media personality has always gone the extra mile to transform her home into a winter wonderland. However, even I was surprised to discover this fascinating fact: In addition to creating stunning card displays, Stewart also owns a Christmas tree farm from which she selects the perfect tree. And yes, she’s willing to share her expertise!
Martha Stewart discussed her tree farm in an interview on CBS News Sunday Morning. In 2009, she planted approximately 609 trees there, as she shared during the segment. Stewart also offered insights about various types of trees, such as the Blue Spruce with its needle-like foliage, the Eastern White Pine ideal for wreaths, and the fragrant Balsam Fir, among others.
Throughout the video, the leading e-commerce company elaborated on the diverse preferences among tree enthusiasts. Additionally, she highlighted an advantage of offering a wide variety of trees: choosing from many options.
Many individuals appreciate large, plump trees due to their grandeur. However, due to their size, it’s challenging to adorn these big, robust trees with any decorations. On a positive note, having such a grove is beneficial because you can harvest some branches for indoor decorations or wreaths.
It’s definitely on brand for Martha Stewart to have her own farm specifically for Christmas trees, given how much she commits to holidays and decorating. However, the notion of her doing so much to achieve that perfect tree every year is still somewhat wild to me. Part of that may be because I grew up in a household that utilized artificial trees (complete with pre-strung lights) were utilized. While I’ve always thought those store-bought creations were just fine, I do appreciate Stewart’s efforts. Gaze upon her personal forest in the video:

Martha Stewart doesn’t mince words about the scenes from her Netflix documentary that she dislikes: “I made it clear to them to remove those.
The businesswoman stated that this is her preferred season due to the holidays and customs associated with it. It’s not hard to see why she feels that way. As for the former talk show host, she might be taking advantage of this time to relax after a rather active year. Over the past few months, she devoted effort to marketing her documentary, Martha, which she described as “easy.” Additionally, Stewart found herself in a lighthearted social media spat when she commented on Ryan Reynolds not being particularly funny. This comment caused quite a stir and even prompted a witty retort from Hugh Jackman.
There’s no better moment than during the Christmas season for taking a break and revitalizing oneself, and it seems Martha Stewart intends to do exactly that. May she have a delightful holiday with her preferred tree. As for me, I must put away the container from where my artificial fir was taken out.
If you’re curious about the private life of the well-known publisher, consider subscribing to Netflix and watching the series called “Martha“. It would surely provide an engaging viewing experience, especially during your leisure time over the festive period.
