As a gamer who’s seen his fair share of virtual worlds, I must say, Diddy‘s “freak off parties” sound more like a level in a disturbing video game than a real-life event. The scale check, the dress code, the strict rules – it’s like a twisted version of a fashion minigame, but with far more sinister undertones.
In recent times, the elaborate details surrounding Diddy’s once-controversial “wild bash” events have surfaced, causing a stir as the magnate confronts legal issues and past attendees share their personal accounts. His lawyer’s response to the thousand bottles of lubricant gained widespread attention, while revelations emerged about who was permitted inside and outside at Diddy’s parties, along with recollections from women who were there. Now, an event organizer who worked for the rapper has come forward, disclosing some of their tasks during their tenure with him.
In a sequence of conversations, an unidentified party organizer revealed that a weighing scale was presented before certain events. The purpose behind this was to verify that women attending the event met a specific weight requirement requested by Diddy prior to the party. A particular weight limit existed for women, with only minor exceptions: 140 pounds. As the party planner explained to Page Six:
In case it’s required, we’d perform weight checks. It was essential that the girls were young and attractive, so I usually kept a scale handy to ensure their weights. The target weight was 140 pounds, but if a girl was particularly tall, there was some flexibility allowed.
Previously, America’s Next Top Model has considered height and weight for paid modeling jobs, but those standards don’t apply to social events meant for public visibility (and even America’s Next Top Model has faced criticism over time). However, considering other reports about Diddy’s infamous parties, this kind of focus on physical appearance aligns with the atmosphere of these events, which have been reported to often include nude individuals lounging casually.
As a fashion enthusiast, I found myself in a scene where an unspoken yet understood dress code was prevalent. It seemed that women were expected to don short dresses paired with high heels, a norm that appeared to be widely recognized even before arrival.
The dress code specified that attire should not include pants or jeans, and footwear must not be flat. Instead, women were expected to wear party dresses, ideally short ones that reveal just the lower part of their backside but not longer than mid-thigh. They also needed to show some cleavage, and they had to don high heels; there were no exceptions for any other type of shoe or heel height.
The party organizer subsequently disclosed additional guidelines such as “no excessive body fat,” “no visible cellulite,” and a preference against women with too many piercings or tattoos. At the time, he assumed these restrictions were due to drinking regulations and the rapper wished to avoid any potential legal issues related to that matter. Only later did he learn about the allegation that the attendees were expected to engage in sexual activities; this information came to light with recent news reports.
Diddy was arrested and is currently in jail on charges of sex trafficking, transportation to engage in prostitution, and racketeering, and will officially stand trial on May 5, 2025. He’s attempted to argue he should be released on bail and tried to post $50 million as collateral, but has been denied. He is currently awaiting trial at the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center.
