The day was momentous for the upcoming Marvel movie “Avengers: Doomsday,” one of the most eagerly awaited films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Marvel Studios has been gradually unveiling the cast for “Doomsday” by displaying the names of its actors on seats, and it appears that this film will serve as a significant stage for the X-Men to take center stage. After Kelsey Grammer’s confirmation as Beast, following his reprisal of the role in “The Marvels,” additional actors from the Fox-era of X-Men films have been announced for Doomsday, including Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen.
As a huge fan, I’ve been eagerly anticipating “Avengers: Doomsday,” particularly intrigued by Robert Downey Jr.’s portrayal of Doctor Doom. Yet, the announcement of numerous actors who’ve previously played mutant heroes and villains only fuels my excitement for this 2026 film even more.
