More casually: The Bollywood newcomer, Ibrahim Ali Khan, made his mark with his first movie Nadaaniyan, alongside Khushi Kapoor. Upon its release on Netflix, the film garnered a mix of compliments and criticisms, but it certainly kept people talking. However, now the focus has shifted to Ibrahim himself due to a heated social media discussion. A widely shared image claims that he responded to a Pakistani movie critic about a comment regarding his nose job.
Pakistani movie reviewer Tamur Iqbal recently made headlines on Instagram when he claimed that Ibrahim Ali Khan responded aggressively to a direct message following a critical review of the latter’s debut film. Iqbal posted what appeared to be a screenshot of their conversation, and it seems this exchange has been widely shared, causing discussions among both fans and critics.
The purported screenshot indicates that the actor from Nadaaniyan seems to have criticized Tamur harshly, making a connection between the critic’s name and his younger brother Taimur. He further stated, “You’re so unattractive. Given your inability to control what you say, there’s no need for you to speak, as your words are insignificant, much like yourself.
Additionally, the message contained derogatory comments aimed at Tamur and his kin, coupled with a menacing warning regarding a possible future interaction.
In a surprising twist, Tamur Iqbal seemed to approve of Ibrahim’s assertive demeanor, finding it more genuine compared to his on-screen character. He admitted that his comment regarding the actor’s looks might have been inappropriate but remained firm in his overall criticism.
Additionally, he showed respect for Ibrahim’s father while cautioning him against tarnishing his heritage. Yet, the accuracy of this conversation is yet to be confirmed. His reaction and the feedback on his post suggest that he might have made a disparaging remark about Ibrahim’s looks.
The Pakistani commentator also disclosed that Ibrahim Ali Khan has since blocked him on Instagram, adding an extra dimension to the continuing dispute.
In this movie titled Nadaaniyan, Ibrahim Ali Khan makes his first appearance as Arjun, while Khushi Kapoor plays Pia. Veteran actors like Suniel Shetty, Mahima Chaudhry, Dia Mirza, and Jugal Hansraj are also part of the cast in significant roles. The film is directed by Shauna Gautam, who steps into her role as a director for the first time.
