The much-awaited show “The Royals” has just started streaming online. In this series, Ishaan Khatter takes on the character of a prince, while Bhumi Pednekar portrays an entrepreneur. The plot centers around a troubled royal family. Lately, the main characters have shared their preferences and dislikes if they were real-life royals.
In a recent conversation with t2Online, actors Ishaan Khatter and Bhumi Pednekar from The Royals were asked about their thoughts on being part of a royal family. To this, Ishaan Khatter, who starred in Dhadak, declared himself a ‘nonconformist’ and expressed his dislike for the rigid structure of hierarchy. He humorously added, “If I were royalty, I might make decisions and establish rules that could stir quite a bit of controversy!
Ishaan pointed out a likeness between himself and his character Aviraaj, particularly their shared enthusiasm for horse ownership as part of their royal status.
In a more casual manner, Bhumi Pednekar expressed her desire to keep all the jewels and live in a grand palace, just like they did while shooting in Jaipur.
Bhumi expressed her discomfort with being compelled to adhere to traditional practices that have remained largely unchanged. She clarified that she’s not your typical individual and has often challenged the status quo. Furthermore, she hinted at potentially introducing modifications, such as suggesting a crown princess instead of a crown prince.
