As per the latest update from Hindustan Times, it’s been clarified that there’s no truth to the speculations about Kartik Aaryan being involved in Mujhse Shaadi Karogi 2. An insider revealed that he’s currently occupied with shooting for Anurag Basu’s musical romantic film alongside Sreeleela, and he’s also looking forward to completing several other projects he’s lined up.
According to the original article, it was stated that “Kartik is presently concentrating on single lead films as he feels this direction suits his development and the niche he’s created for himself. This doesn’t mean he shuns ensemble or multi-character productions; rather, it indicates his faith in his creative vision.

A few days ago, a Mid-day article hinted at the possibility of renowned producer Sajid Nadiadwala reviving the classic humor and chaos we all love, but with a fresh, contemporary twist. We’ve been informed that the movie we’re working on is currently being written, and its ultimate form depends on how well it turns out. The producer won’t initiate casting until he’s satisfied with the script; if not, the project will be temporarily paused.
Led by Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi was released in 2004.
Regarding Kartik Aaryan’s professional life, he is at present filming for an unnamed musical romance, co-starring Sreeleela. This project, helmed by Anurag Basu, was previously announced earlier this year and is slated for release on the festive occasion of Diwali in 2025.
