As a long-time fan of The Voice, this upcoming season has me absolutely thrilled! Having followed the show since its inception, I can confidently say that the camaraderie between the coaches this season is unlike anything we’ve ever seen before. It’s refreshing to see them bonding rather than bickering, and it makes for a much more enjoyable viewing experience.
As The Voice Season 26 approaches its last few weeks in the 2024 TV lineup, preparations for the following season are underway. Notably, original coach Adam Levine will make a comeback, and he along with new addition Kelsea Ballerini have a challenging task ahead. The camaraderie among this year’s coaches has captivated many, even earning praise from Reba McEntire as her “favorite.” Yet, the incoming quartet might give the current team a run for their money based on a glimpse of their group chats!
Kelsea Ballerini shared a number of images from her Thanksgiving festivities to Instagram Stories, and it looked like a wild time. In addition to plenty of cooking and singing in front of the Christmas tree (I love that she’s already got her tree up, by the way), the “Peter Pan” artist showed that she was in touch with her fellow The Voice coaches, sharing this screenshot:
Initially, it’s heartwarming to know that the coaches for Season 27 had a get-together on Thanksgiving, hinting that they will provide both humor and sharpness. This is hardly unexpected when it comes to Adam Levine, given his history of being part of some of The Voice‘s most outrageous moments. However, what sets this season apart is Kelsea Ballerini playfully giving the finger to… her turkey.
It’s hard not to chuckle when the Maroon 5 singer refers to his turkey as “wee,” even though I sort of agree with him, since that image of what seems to be a brining process makes the bird look surprisingly small. Michael Bublé, on the other hand, has a different view on the size of the turkey (other pictures in her Stories suggest it was quite large), but still found the conversation amusing.
Even though it seemed like John Legend was participating in the conversation, he wasn’t fast enough to make it into Kelsea Ballerini’s snapshot because he had four children to take care of during Thanksgiving at home with Chrissy Teigen. This is reasonable given the distractions caused by their busy household.
Catching a glimpse of the lively and entertaining personalities of the Season 27 coaches while they’re filming alongside the ongoing Season 26 has only heightened my anticipation for Adam Levine’s comeback. However, I must admit that I didn’t think any team would top Reba McEntire, Snoop Dogg, Gwen Stefani, and Michael Bublé, but the new coaches are giving them a run for their money!
Similar to Reba McEntire, I believe this season of The Voice has been outstanding thanks to the harmonious relationship between its coaches. Initially, it looked like the program was attempting to stir up rivalries among its trainers, reminiscent of how Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, and Kelly Clarkson used to squabble. However, this season, the tension is conspicuously absent, and instead, the show has thrived on the unity displayed by the coaches.
Snoop Dogg refers to his teammates as if they were his nieces and nephews due to the deep affection he has for them.
Firstly, Michael Bublé is taking on two roles, being the sole coach to appear in both seasons. Frankly, I wasn’t certain about his contribution in Season 26, but his humor turned out to be the highlight for me. Knowing that more hilarity is coming from him in the 2025 TV lineup certainly increases my excitement. With a glimpse of what Kelsea Ballerini and Adam Levine have to offer, I’m confident we’re in store for an entertaining season ahead.
