In partnership with fashion label HUGO, Web3 entertainment company Imaginary Ones has introduced a denim jacket with built-in web3 capabilities for personalized customization.
According to a press release obtained by crypto.news, Hugo’s latest special-edition product, which is part of the Hugo Blue denim collection, reflects the brand’s efforts to connect with Generation Z demographics via gaming and Metaverse environments.
The Imaginary Ones community on Discord and X were first given a peek at the specifics of the jacket on March 12.
Starting March 14, community members had the opportunity to reserve a physical jacket through Tether’s USDT platform. The jackets were all reserved in just an hour after they became available.
This jacket comes with a DIY customization kit as an added feature. The kit includes five unique patches from both HUGO and Imaginary Ones. Beneath the HUGO flower patch, there’s an NFC tag. Activating this tag grants access to a WebAR experience, enabling fans to personalize their digital accessories using their smartphones, and easily share their creations on social media without having to download a separate app.
Users have the opportunity to obtain a special Roblox skin by redeeming their digital token. This exclusive reward can be claimed in a hidden chamber inside the game, which also grants users a coordinating helmet as a bonus.
Holders will be rewarded with $350 worth of BUBBle Coin, the native token of Imaginary Ones, upon personalizing their web3 jacket and claiming their new Roblox skin.
In the Imaginary Ones community, those who possess NFTs will be rewarded with an extra 10-30% of BUBBLE Coins for every NFT they hold.
