io.net collaborates with Injective to boost creativity in the rapidly developing Decentralized Finance and Artificial Intelligence (DeFAI) field, utilizing decentralized assets for machine learning advancements and blockchain integration.
io.net, a decentralized Internet of GPUs, and Injective, an open, interoperable smart contract layer-one blockchain network, have revealed their plans to collaborate, with the goal of merging Injective’s iAgent AI framework with io.net’s decentralized GPU processing network. This partnership is designed to enhance the convergence of decentralized computing and artificial intelligence.
Back on November 19, 2024, Injective introduced iAgent – an AI-driven SDK for developers, enabling them to incorporate intelligent features into blockchain transactions. This innovation will make it possible to perform tasks like sending payments and executing trades on the blockchain using advanced language models, such as OpenAI, in practice.
Through a strategic alliance, Injective’s sophisticated AI technology is being combined with io.net’s vast, decentralized compute infrastructure that boasts more than 10,000 GPU and CPU clusters. This partnership aims to equip AI professionals with tools for training, fine-tuning, and deploying machine learning models using distributed resources. With this integration, the potential of decentralized computing and the computational power accessible for AI-driven blockchain applications is anticipated to grow significantly.
Through this collaboration, we’ll delve into ways that Injective’s iAgent structure might leverage io.net’s decentralized GPU system to boost AI developers’ computational capabilities. Furthermore, both parties, io.net and Injective, will scrutinize potential uses of io.net’s GPU pricing and data streams in the development of financial products on the blockchain, which Injective plans to create in the future.
Through this partnership, we’re working towards a common ambition: providing developers and engineers with useful tools. By merging io.net’s decentralized computing foundation with Injective’s AI agent structures and resources, our goal is to tackle significant issues in the AI and blockchain sectors by simplifying access for creators worldwide,” stated Tausif Ahmed, the Chief Business Development Officer of io.net.
Through this collaboration, Eric Chen, CEO and Co-founder of Injective Labs, expressed his thoughts on the progression of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Decentralized Finance (DeFi). Here’s what he had to share:
“By joining forces, we aim to accelerate the development of AI and DeFi technologies.
In the past few months, there’s been a significant surge in the application of AI through blockchain infrastructure. We’re excited to witness the growing acceptance of iAgent, which integrates AI with blockchain. With io.net’s backing and their decentralized computing platform, we believe this partnership will broaden the scope and foster more innovation within the rapidly expanding Decentralized Finance and Artificial Intelligence (DeFAI) field.
Collaborating, these two industry titans have made a significant stride towards materializing the capabilities of distributed artificial intelligence (AI). This partnership will essentially open up opportunities for developers to construct more effective AI projects within the blockchain environment.
