Fans of Fortnite have come to expect the unexpected, given the game’s numerous collaborations across various media properties. Starting on February 13th, there will be additional armor options for Marvel’s Iron Man within the game.
According to trusted Fortnite tipster ShiinaBR (previously on X, presumably Twitter), the wealthy, intelligent, charming, and charitable character is set to acquire extra outfits in Fortnite, along with additional cosmetics such as a personal Back Bling and Pickaxe.
Purchasing the Iron Man skin will set you back 2,000 V-Bucks. It comes with a total of four different variations, such as the original Iron Man suit from the Marvel Cinematic Universe and a Mark II version. But be aware that just the skin itself does not come with the Back Bling or Pickaxe – only the four suit variants are included in your purchase.
The accessory on his back, which includes an arc reactor, retails for 400 V-Bucks, making it a worthwhile cosmetic option for those who are both Marvel enthusiasts and Fortnite players.
Concerning his pickaxe, it’s not just any pickaxe; it resembles a colossal hammer, but unlike Justin Hammer, this one is powered by Iron Man’s iconic propulsion engines. This large tool will set you back 800 V-Bucks. For those with a higher budget, the complete bundle can be purchased for approximately 2,500 V-Bucks.
It’s no secret that Iron Man is accustomed to a variety of Fortnite items and characters; he boasts a vast collection, which encompasses the Iron Man Mk. 45 and the distinctive Tony Stark outfit among others. Now, it seems like Fortnite is extending yet another warm welcome to its superhero in disguise.
In Fortnite, we see a diverse array of crossovers that range from Godzilla in sneakers to characters like Mariah Carey and Avatar: The Last Airbender armed with guns. These collaborations seem endless, particularly when it comes to Marvel. The game has already showcased figures such as War Machine, Emma Frost, Doctor Doom, Captain America, several Spider-Man versions from the Spider-Verse movies, and even X-Men characters including Wolverine.
As an avid follower, I’m buzzing with excitement over the latest whispers about newcomers! Could it be true that Red Hulk, Falcon, and even Superman from DC might soon join our ranks? Fingers crossed!
Enthusiasts continue to anticipate a collaboration between Disney’s Avatar and other franchises, despite numerous rumors that have yet to be officially verified. Should this crossover materialize, it could potentially release ahead of the third film’s premiere in cinemas.
