Is Salman Khan moody or unpredictable on sets? Co-star Mukesh Rishi weighs in: ‘Over time, life changes…’

Veteran actor Mukesh Rishi, known for his roles in movies such as Ghayal, Gardish, and Sarfarosh, has reminisced about his experiences working with some of Bollywood’s top stars. Lately, he has fondly recalled teaming up with Salman Khan while clarifying certain misconceptions about the actor’s behavior. He stated, “As time passes, people drift apart, but Khan is frequently misunderstood.

As an ardent admirer putting words to my enthusiasm, I’d recount my conversation with the esteemed Siddharth Kannan where the seasoned actor Mukesh Rishi reminisced affectionately about his professional journeys alongside Salman Khan. He shared that they had joined forces on a couple, if not three, cinematic ventures. In his heartfelt narrative, he portrayed Salman as a radiant and amiable soul who frequently set the tone for a lively and enjoyable atmosphere post-shoots, by infusing the environment with his infectious good humor.

During the wrap-ups of Bandhan’s filming in Bangalore, Rishi mentioned that he and his crew often spent free time visiting local eateries or pubs. He also pointed out that they occasionally worked out together, underscoring the close bond they formed during their work on set.

Dispelling old speculations about Khan’s supposed mood swings or unreliability on set, Mukesh Rishi made it clear that he didn’t observe any such behavior during the time they collaborated.

He mentioned that there had never been an instance that made them feel uneasy or out of place around each other. Although he admitted that over time, life evolves and people tend to grow apart, spending less time together, attending fewer events, and no longer collaborating professionally, he stressed that any impression of Salman acting moody was probably a misinterpretation.

When inquired about socializing with Salman Khan, Mukesh Rishi chuckled, acknowledging that they did enjoy some beverages together on occasion.

Apart from reminiscing about his own journey, the seasoned actor shared insights gleaned from collaborations with notable names in Bollywood. Regarding Amitabh Bachchan, he mentioned they’d starred in around three to four movies together.

In a summary of their working relationship, he emphasized it was founded on genuine respect for each other. He pointed out that although Bachchan wasn’t overly talkative on the set, a solid professional bond was evident between them. Furthermore, he mentioned that true affection and respect do not need to be forced; they develop organically.

Rishi described his bond with Akshay Kumar as being formal and business-focused, explaining that they primarily communicate about film-related matters on set.

Instead, he remembered Aamir Khan as having a more sociable demeanor, humorously pointing out that no matter where a crowd assembled, Aamir seemed to find a way to join the festivities.
