Actress Isabella Rossellini is set to team up with Joan Collins for the film titled “The Bitter End” (working title), which tells an unheard tale about Wallis Simpson, as per confirmation from John Gore Studios.
As a gamer, I’d rephrase it like this: In my gaming world, a movie directed by Mike Newell (known for “Four Weddings and a Funeral”) and written by Louise Fennell takes us through the final years of Wallis Simpson, an American divorcee who eventually became the Duchess of Windsor. When King Edward VIII had to choose love over duty, Wallis was his choice.
In the role she was nominated for an Oscar, Rossellini will portray Suzanne Blum – a French attorney and confidante to Simpson (played by Collins). Through Blum’s hands, Rossellini’s character will draw Simpson into a dangerous web of obsession and manipulative control.

Rossellini, who was nominated for an Oscar in the acclaimed film Conclave, will take on the part of Suzanne Blum – a French lawyer close to Simpson (portrayed by Collins). By manipulating Simpson through Blum’s actions, Rossellini’s character will ensnare her in a dangerous trap of obsession and coercive control.
Rossellini expressed great excitement about working alongside the remarkable Joan Collins and talented director Mike Newell to revive this exceptional tale,” he stated.
Louise Fennell’s script offers an in-depth exploration of the intricate and heart-wrenching bond shared by these two influential figures. It reveals the significant influence they exerted upon each other and the enduring imprint they left on historical events.

Isabella Rossellini has an incredibly powerful and mesmerizing talent; her knack for bringing intricate characters to life with depth and authenticity leaves audiences spellbound and enhances every narrative she touches.
