As a seasoned movie enthusiast who’s seen more than my fair share of Hollywood dramas unfold both on and off-screen, I must say this latest Blake Lively versus Justin Baldoni saga is proving to be as captivating as any blockbuster film. The twists and turns in this tale are reminiscent of a Colleen Hoover novel itself!
Over the last month, few Hollywood tales have garnered as much buzz as the dispute between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni. Back in early December, Lively initiated a legal action against Wayfarer Studios, claiming that Baldoni had fostered a hostile work environment on the set of their film “It Ends With Us,” which is an adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s novel by the same name and was released in August this year. Now, the situation has grown more intricate, as Baldoni’s former publicist has taken legal action to disassociate herself from any attempts to tarnish Lively’s reputation.
According to reports from TMZ, Stephanie Jones, a previous representative for Justin Baldoni, is planning to file a lawsuit against her former employee Jennifer Abel. She alleges that Abel intentionally harmed her reputation during their disagreement with Blake Lively, which went public this past summer. Jones claims that Abel hired crisis PR specialist Melissa Nathan at the time, and while Lively has accused both Abel and Nathan of damaging her career in Hollywood, Jones maintains that she too was targeted.
