The grizzly beard and ’80s-style hairdo have given him an entirely new persona that is a stark contrast to the clean-cut heartthrob we once knew. Lately, he has grown a rugged beard and graced red carpets with it. To me, without his teenage idol image that propelled him to stardom, he appeared almost unrecognizable.

At the Marrakech International Film Festival in Morocco, a 27-year-old actor was part of the jury. Before honoring Sean Penn during the tribute ceremony, he walked the red carpet.
