As a long-time fan of both Mike Tyson and live sports events, I found myself eagerly awaiting the much-hyped Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson fight on Netflix. However, my excitement was quickly dampened as I encountered numerous screen buffering and freezing issues during the live event.
Fans looking forward to the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson fight on Netflix have expressed disappointment due to persistent screen buffering and freezing problems during the live broadcast.
On Friday evening, several enthusiasts voiced their grievances on X (previously known as Twitter), with Dave Portnoy, the founder of Barstool Sports, among them.
“Im in the classic torture chamber where I cant tell if my internet keeps going out or whether #netflix is just constantly buffering and unwatchable for everybody,” he wrote on X earlier in the night before later adding, “So the reports are in. #netflix wasnt ready for this. This is unwatchable.”
On X, the 13 most popular trending topics revolved around the fight, as anticipation built towards the main event. However, “NetflixBroken,” “unwatchable,” and “#buffering” were also frequently mentioned throughout the evening.
The Hollywood Reporter contacted Netflix, yet the streaming service declined to offer any comments as of now.
More to come.
