James Harden Unveils Upcoming adidas Harden Vol. 9 SS25 Colorways

As a seasoned gamer with a penchant for basketball and a knack for spotting the latest sneaker drops, I can’t help but be thrilled at the prospect of James Harden’s adidas Harden Vol. 9 Spring/Summer 2025 lineup. With my fingers poised over my virtual shopping cart, I eagerly await each new colorway release, from the “Year of the Snake” China exclusive to the “Ice Metallic.

Following the on-court premiere of the Adidas Harden Vol. 9, James Harden has posted on Instagram about the upcoming color options for his new signature sneaker.

Starting next month, Harden has announced on Instagram what fans can anticipate for the upcoming Spring/Summer 2025 season of his shoe line. Notably, six new color variations will be introduced, with the “Year of the Snake” China exclusive launch happening on Boxing Day this year. The “Cyber Metallic” version, which Harden wore during his on-court debut, will be released on January 25th. Following this, the “Pearlized” variant will drop on February 22nd, “Metamorphosis” on March 15th, “Hell Cat” on April 5th, and “Ice Metallic” on May 10th.

Each pair features a neoprene bootie, that delivers a sock-like fit allowing for the wearer to have greater support and flexibility. The synthetic overlays come in a deep blue hue for the “Year of the Snake,” silver for “Cyber Metallic,” a white tone for “Pearlized,” green hue for “Metamorphosis,” bold red for “Hell Cat” and light blue for “Ice Metallic.” The futuristic aesthetic features subtle branding elements that include flowing curves, resembling Harden’s persona. The shoe sits atop a carbon fiber heel cup with the Three Stripes and his logo as an added touch.
