Based on Bollywood Hungama reports, the actress who starred in The Gunjan Saxena film has consented to a brief role lasting 10 days in Neeraj Ghaywan’s upcoming project. It was stated that when Karan Johar and Neeraj presented the offer to Janhvi, she found it hard to decline due to her high regard for both of them. She has scheduled 10 days from her hectic schedule and is excited about reconnecting with her debut co-star, Ishaan Khatter.
The insider shared that the upcoming movie will star two main characters and negotiations are underway to bring on board another rising talent. They emphasized that the plot centers around a friendship, stressing that Neeraj has crafted an engaging script that should strike a chord with viewers. Moreover, the source pointed out that this film’s style and mood deviate notably from Masaan, and it is slated for release in the latter part of 2025.
Recently, Kapoor appeared in the movie Ulajh with Gulshan Devaiah. Released on August 2, 2024, this film was directed by Sudhanshu Saria. However, despite high expectations, it didn’t do well at the box office.
At the moment, she is actively involved in filming for the movie titled “Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari,” which features Varun Dhawan. This production also includes actors like Sanya Malhotra, Maniesh Paul, and Akshay Oberoi. The upcoming release, directed by Shashank Khaitan, is planned for April 18, 2025.
