A few days ago, our exclusive report from TopMob revealed that Janhvi Kapoor had been hospitalized in Mumbai due to abdominal discomfort. Upon examination, the doctors diagnosed it as a severe case of food poisoning. At the moment, she wished for her loved ones to be around her.

Although her father, Boney Kapoor, was abroad, it was rumored boyfriend Shikhar Pahariya’s mother, Smruti Shinde, who cared for Janhvi like a mother during his absence. A source shared with the Bombay Times that “Shikhar’s mother stayed by Janhvi’s side in the hospital throughout the night and also kept watch over her the following day.”

Janhvi Kapoor suffered from food poisoning

During the height of her movie Ulajh promotions, Janhvi Kapoor unexpectedly fell sick and was taken to a hospital in Mumbai. Prior to her admission, she had attended the lavish three-day wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. It’s worth noting that Janhvi and Shikhar were also seen together at several events before this.

Fortunately, she was discharged from the hospital on July 20th. Her father, Boney Kapoor, confirmed to Zoom that she was released this morning and is now in a better state of health.

Janhvi Kapoor on the work front

At the start of this year, Janhvi Kapoor, daughter of Sridevi and Boney Kapoor, appeared in a romantic sports drama titled Mr. & Mrs. Mahi alongside Rajkummar Rao. Following that, she began promoting her upcoming project, the spy thriller Ulajh.

Under the direction of Sudhanshu Saria and produced by Vineet Jain, the upcoming movie boasts performances from Gulshan Devaiah, Roshan Mathew, Rajesh Tailang, and Adil Hussain in significant roles. The film, titled Ulajh, is set to hit theaters on August 2, 2024.
