In the trailer for the suspenseful film titled “A Working Man”, Jason Statham is seen chasing after a missing teenager.

David Ayer’s action movie, produced by Amazon MGM Studios, is scheduled to hit theaters nationwide on March 28. The Life of a Blue-Collar Worker follows the story of Levon Cade (Statham), once an elite black ops operative, now contentedly working in construction. However, when his employer’s daughter vanishes, Levon’s quest to locate her thrusts him into a realm of deceit and corruption.

In the trailer, Statham states, “This isn’t your typical abduction; it’s a case of human trafficking.” Later on, he proclaims, “The gangs, organized crime syndicates, and corrupt government officials – they’re all linked to this horrific act of human trafficking.

At some point, Levon’s friend, portrayed by Harbour, gives his opinion: “You climbed your way in. You’ll need to fight your way out.

Yesterday, the movie was directed by Ayer, who collaborated with Sylvester Stallone in writing the script. This script is adapted from Chuck Dixon’s 2014 novel “Levon’s Trade”. The producers for this film are Jason Statham, Ayer himself, Stallone, Chris Long, John Friedberg, Bill Block and Kevin King Templeton.

Previously, Statham and Ayer joined forces in the 2020 suspenseful movie titled “The Beekeeper“, which raked in over $150 million at worldwide box offices.

Previous works by Ayer also feature films such as “Suicide Squad,” and he has recently been vocal on social media advocating for the release of his version of the 2016 Warner Bros. film.
