Over the past few decades, esteemed Bollywood lyricist Javed Akhtar has witnessed Aamir Khan flourish and grow. Notably, Aamir was born in the same year as when Akhtar began his career in Bollywood. Moreover, Aamir has been part of films scripted by Akhtar, making him an ideal individual to discuss Aamir’s future endeavors during the upcoming film festival, which is being held to celebrate Aamir’s 60th birthday.

At the gathering, Javed Saab stated that it was him who predicted Aamir would become a superstar. He also mentioned, “I’m taking a big risk here, but I’ve taken risks like this before and turned out to be correct.

As a lifestyle expert, I’m confidently sharing my perspective: Today, I firmly believe that the movie resonating with all audiences is being crafted by Aamir. This film promises to be a blockbuster hit, all thanks to Aamir’s unique touch. Reflecting on his career, I can’t help but admire the Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak actor. His magic lies in investing in unconventional films. Looking back, I remember urging Mr. Perfectionist not to do Lagaan and even tried to persuade him.

Khan was informed by him about potential issues with the movie. Rather than abandoning the idea of financing it, Aamir jotted down these problems and developed a script that addressed them all. However, when Javed Ji watched the initial version of the 2001 sports drama film, he was astounded. Impressed by Aamir’s performance in Fanaa, the screenwriter commented that few films are as impactful as Taare Zameen Par or as compelling as Dangal.

The seasoned Bollywood actor contends that it’s highly unlikely for anyone to take on the role of an elderly man who gets defeated by his daughter in wrestling in Dangal. Unlike many others, he is the one who places faith in characters and narratives, and even collaborates with directors who haven’t yet achieved box-office success.

Alongside a fresh director named Farhan Akhtar, who debuted with the movie “Dil Chahta Hai”, Aamir lent his support as well. Notably, during the production of “Rang De Basanti”, he was content to remain in the background and allow other actors to shine. Looking back at those memorable times, the writer of Sholay fondly reminisced about Khan’s first film role, which was scripted by him.

During that period, Javed Akhtar was penning the script for Faryaaz, a movie, in Panchgani under Nasir Hussain’s direction. When he encountered the accomplished Bollywood actor, he promptly advised Hussain that the young lad had star potential and should debut with a romantic film. Notably, Aamir Khan’s first film was both produced and written by Javed Akhtar. Additionally, Javed’s son also made his acting debut alongside Khan.

Simultaneously in his professional life, Aamir is engaged with a new project called “Sitaare Zameen Par”, which is actually a sequel to his 2007 film “Taare Zameen Par”. This film was Aamir’s debut as a director. For those unaware, the Aamir Khan Film Festival, titled “Cinema Ka Jaadugar”, will take place from March 14th to 27th and will exhibit some of the renowned movies starring the esteemed actor.
