Jay-Z Accused of Raping 13-Year-Old Girl in Lawsuit; Rapper Says “Idiotic” Accusations Are Part of a “Blackmail Attempt”

As a seasoned gamer who has seen my fair share of twists and turns in the world of virtual reality, I must say that this real-life drama unfolding between Jay-Z and Sean “Diddy” Combs is as gripping as any blockbuster game I’ve played. The allegations are shocking and heavy, and it’s a stark reminder that even our heroes can find themselves embroiled in controversy.

In 2000, Jay-Z was implicated for an alleged rape of a 13-year-old girl, as per NBC News, with additional claims that Sean “Diddy” Combs participated in the incident, too, as part of a lawsuit.

In response, the entrepreneurial rapper – more commonly known as Jay-Z (his real name being Shawn Carter) – deemed the allegations as “ridiculous” and suggested they were an element of a blackmail scheme.

In the court case, an individual referred to as “Jane Doe” claims that Carter and Combs sexually assaulted her at a gathering following the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards in New York City, according to NBC News.

Back in October, a lawsuit was initially brought against me in the Southern District of New York. Initially, I was named as one of the defendants. However, over the weekend, this lawsuit was amended to include another individual, Carter. Notably, the attorney who filed this suit, Tony Buzbee, has also pursued several other legal actions against me in recent months.

Prior to re-filing the lawsuit, Buzbee stated that Carter was sent a letter by the lawyer representing the plaintiff, proposing mediation to settle this dispute. Later on, Carter took legal action against the attorneys of the accused.

On Sunday, Carter expressed through Roc Nation’s X account that the letter from Buzbee appeared to be an attempt at blackmail.

In his lengthy post, he stated that instead of settling due to the seriousness of the accusations and public attention, it made him determined to publicly expose the individual as a fraud. Contrary to what was suggested, not a single penny will be given. The allegations are so horrific in nature that a criminal complaint rather than a civil one should be filed. Anyone committing such a crime against a minor ought to face imprisonment, wouldn’t you agree? If this were the case, the alleged victims would receive true justice.

He went on to says he’s “done a bit of research” on Buzbee and that he has a “pattern of these types of theatrics.” He also called him “deplorable” and that he was feeling “heartbreak” for his wife, Beyoncé, and their three kids.

He added that doesn’t “play these types of games.”

Just those who form part of your circle of conspiracy believers … will find your absurd accusations against me plausible, which, given the gravity concerning potential harm to children, are so unreasonable they’d normally be considered comical,” he added.

Following a post by Roc Nation, Buzbee shared a post on Instagram that implied he’s been receiving threats due to lawsuits he’s filed. The post featured a picture of him in a military uniform with the caption: “Do you recognize this face? This image is from the Weapons Platoon Commander, Alpha Company, First Battalion, Fourth Marines from our old Western Pacific cruise book. Despite a series of organized and hostile actions, such as harassing my children, contacting my past clients to encourage them to sue me, reaching out to my colleagues or former employees asking if I’ve mistreated them, appearing at the homes of my current employees to harass them, filing baseless lawsuits against me and my firm, defaming me with outrageous claims, having strangers follow me and my family, and more, I remain the same determined individual. I won’t be cowed or intimidated. The truth will eventually prevail over this attempt to discredit me and my clients. Furthermore, I will not allow anyone to silence my clients through fear. Truth is a powerful cleanser, and I believe that light is on its way.

The Hollywood Reporter contacted Jay-Z’s representative. Currently, Combs – who denies all accusations made against him – is held in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, pending his trial set for May 5th.

In the court case, the complainant alleges that she was taken to Radio City Music Hall, the venue of the VMAs, even though she didn’t possess a ticket. Her intention was to gain access to the event or its subsequent party. A limousine driver claimed to be employed by Combs and stated that she matched what Diddy was searching for, according to the lawsuit.

Following her ride to the gathering, she was requested to put her signature on what she assumed was a confidentiality agreement in order to gain entry, where famous personalities and others were reportedly using marijuana and cocaine. It’s claimed in the lawsuit that she was then offered a drink which left her feeling dizzy, faint, and as if she needed to lie down. Upon going into a different room to rest, it’s alleged that Combs and Carter entered. “You’re all set for partying!” Combs is said to have exclaimed.

According to her claims, Carter is said to have removed her clothes, restrained her, and sexually assaulted her. It’s alleged that Combs, along with an unidentified female celebrity, witnessed this incident. Furthermore, it’s claimed that Combs also allegedly committed a sexual assault while Carter and the woman looked on.

Beyond her initial assertions, she also alleges that Combs was attempting to coerce her into performing oral sex, but she managed to stop him by striking him in the neck. The accuser states that following the alleged incident, she hastily gathered her belongings and departed; upon finding a gas station, she phoned her father.

The accuser is seeking unspecified damages.
