That’s when they discovered a mug that Jennifer Garner had given to the pastor and music director during the holidays, just before the fires started. After the wildfire, they sent a picture of the surviving gift to Garner, which was found amidst the wreckage of the collapsed building.

In a message to her followers, the actress revealed her surprise upon learning that Kemper and Chitwood had found an item (presumably the mug), as they had only mentioned “We found one thing.” She used this moment to instill hope among her audience before offering prayers for everyone in the Pacific Palisades community, including homeowners and business owners who are likely sifting through the remnants of their properties in search of what’s left.

Previously discussing the fires, a 52-year-old mother of three revealed that she had over a hundred friends who unfortunately lost their homes.
