Jennifer Lopez, Brett Goldstein to Star in Netflix Rom-Com ‘Office Romance’

As a long-time fan of Jennifer Lopez and her captivating performances, especially in romantic comedies, I am beyond thrilled to hear about her upcoming Netflix project “Office Romance” with Brett Goldstein! The fact that they are teaming up for this rom-com is music to my ears.

Jennifer Lopez seems quite enthusiastic about her latest Netflix productions, as she’s planning to reappear on Netflix for her upcoming project.

Lopez and the star of Ted Lasso, Brett Goldstein, have been announced as the leads for the upcoming Netflix romantic comedy, Office Romance, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Goldstein is collaborating on a screenplay with Joe Kelly. Specifics about the storyline are being kept under wraps at this time, and a filmmaker hasn’t been appointed as of now.

This year, Lopez appeared in sci-fi movie “Atlas,” directed by Brad Peyton on Netflix, alongside Simu Liu and Sterling K. Brown. Before that, she was the main character in director Niki Caro’s 2023 action film “The Mother” on a streaming platform.

In December, William Goldenberg’s sports drama titled “Unstoppable” by Lopez will be released by Amazon MGM Studios. This follows its initial screening at the Toronto International Film Festival this month. The movie revolves around the true story of wrestler Anthony Robles and features Matt Damon and Lopez’s former spouse, Ben Affleck, as producers.

I’m a die-hard fan, and Jennifer Lopez has always been my go-to actress when it comes to romantic comedies. She’s graced the screen in iconic films like “The Wedding Planner” and “Maid in Manhattan.” More recently, she’s kept me entertained with movies such as “Marry Me” and “Shotgun Wedding.

Goldstein has won two Emmy Awards, one of which was for his standout performance as Roy Kent on the Apple TV+ show “Ted Lasso”. Apart from this, he’s also known for his role in the romantic movie “All of You”, which recently premiered at TIFF. Additionally, Goldstein is a co-creator of another Apple TV+ series titled “Shrinking”.

Kelly served as both a writer and an executive producer on the show, “Ted Lasso.” In addition, he’s penned material for other series such as “Detroiters,” “Saturday Night Live,” and “How I Met Your Mother.

Deadline was first to report on Office Romance.
