Jeremy Allen White Is The Boss in First Photo Released From Bruce Springsteen Biopic

As a gamer who has lived through the golden age of rock and roll, I must say that seeing Jeremy Allen White as Bruce Springsteen in “Deliver Me From Nowhere” is nothing short of electrifying! The image released by 20th Century Fox sent chills down my spine, reminding me of those iconic moments from the ’80s when music truly mattered.

In the upcoming biopic titled “Deliver Me From Nowhere,” The Bear takes on the role of The Boss, with Scott Cooper (known for “Crazy Hearts”) at the helm as director. This film is based on Warren Zanes’ 2023 book, “Deliver Me from Nowhere: The Making of Bruce Springsteen’s Nebraska.” The longtime music manager of Springsteen, Jon Landau, will be portrayed by Jeremy Strong, an actor who has previously appeared in “Succession” and “The Apprentice.

The photo released on Monday shows White in a leather jacket and flannel shirt.

Exploring the Creation Process Behind Springsteen’s 1982 Album Nebraska reveals insights into the making of the album following the massive success of his previous release, The River. As White shared with GQ, “I consider myself fortunate to have a supportive team in place now, assisting young actors in portraying rock stars. I’m blessed with an incredibly gifted group of individuals who are helping me prepare vocally and musically for this role.

The biography takes inspiration from the recent Disney+ music film titled “Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band“.

Lately, Austin Butler has assumed the role of Elvis Presley, Timothee Chalamet is set to portray Bob Dylan in the forthcoming film “A Complete Unknown”, Rami Malek recently played Freddie Mercury in “Bohemian Rhapsody”, and Taron Egerton has depicted Elton John in “Rocketman”.

In April, Cooper stated that Nebraska had a deep influence on him and his artistic endeavors. He explained, “Bruce’s work, through its themes of despair, disillusionment, and the trials faced by ordinary Americans, has left an unprecedented legacy, offering a stark depiction of the human experience… Even amidst the gloom, there’s a glimmer of resilience and hope, which mirrors an unyielding spirit. This is the Bruce I’ve grown to admire and cherish, and it is this Bruce that I will pay tribute to in this film.
