Jessica Alba and Cash Warren Split After 16 Years of Marriage

Jessica Alba and her husband Cash Warren are ending their marriage after 16 years together.

On Thursday, Alba announced their separation via an Instagram post, stating: “For many years, I’ve been on a personal journey of self-discovery and transformation, both independently and within my relationship with Cash. I am proud of the way we’ve evolved together in our marriage over the past 20 years, but now it is time for us to move forward separately, embarking on new chapters of personal growth and development.

Although they are no longer a couple, Alba shared that they continue to progress with affection, goodwill, and mutual respect. They remain family, bound by these sentiments, indefinitely.

She concluded by emphasizing that our kids are our top concern, asking for privacy during this period instead.

In the year 2004, Alba and Warren crossed paths for the first time on the set of “Fantastic Four.” It was here where Alba portrayed Sue Storm, while Warren served as an assistant to the movie’s director, Tim Story.

They married in 2008 and share three children, ages 7, 13 and 16.

Last year, we marked our anniversary by expressing on Instagram, “I’m so proud of us for getting this far. No handbook or advice could truly prepare you for the profound meaning of committing to someone and deciding to become a family.

Regardless of obstacles or distance, we’ve always managed to reconnect, and we’ve made the conscious decision to stay together. Here’s to us, I am deeply in love with you,” was one way Alba expressed this sentiment in her message.

Apart from her acting career, Alba is also the founder of The Honest Company, a business specializing in baby products and personal care items that debuted in 2012. Last April, Alba relinquished her role as the company’s Chief Creative Officer. In an Instagram post at the time, she expressed, “Although there was never a convenient moment to make this decision, I trust our leadership team, with CEO Carla Vernón leading the way, to uphold our founding vision and fortify The Honest Company’s reputation as an industry trailblazer.”

In envisioning our company’s future, we gained significant advantages from the wisdom of our founder, Jessica Alba. A forward-thinker indeed, Jessica started Honest with a commitment to providing superior clean ingredients and eco-friendly designs in baby and personal care items,” Vernón stated. “On behalf of our management, board, and countless employees past and present, I express our heartfelt gratitude for Jessica’s leadership throughout the years. I am thrilled that she will continue as an advisor, retaining her position on our board of directors. As she embarks on new exciting endeavors, we wish her nothing but success.

At the time, Alba had noted that she was redirecting her focus to “new projects and passions.”
