Jaideep Ahlawat is now preparing for the launch of his upcoming movie, Jewel Thief. Since the debut track from the film, “Jaadu,” was released, it’s been Jaideep’s dance moves that have caught everyone off guard. He has been receiving praise for his acting and responding to surprised reactions, and as Pataal Lok actor, he shared what Saif Ali Khan had told him too.

On April 14th, the trailer for Jewel Thief was unveiled at an exclusive gathering where the entire cast of the heist movie were present. In a delightful exchange, Jaideep Ahlawat, known for his somber acting style, left fans astounded and impressed by showcasing his fantastic dance skills in the film’s opening track.

In response to questions about the audience’s reaction, Ahlawat played down the focus on himself by explaining his performance as ordinary. He expressed, “I’m not sure why people are so amazed to see me dance; I hail from Haryana and have been dancing since my childhood in numerous ‘ghudchadis’. Therefore, dancing is nothing out of the ordinary for me.

In addition, he discussed what Saif Ali Khan commented after seeing the audience’s shocked reaction to his dancing. He expressed, “Saif sir himself said something like this: ‘Why do people get surprised when someone can dance?'” His words were met with enthusiastic applause and demands from the press for a repeat performance, which he eventually granted.

Besides this, Nikita Dutta, who attended the launch, remembered the team’s response whenever Ahlawat danced during filming. She explained that typically, when actors are required to dance, others would take a break. However, when the Paatal Lok actor started dancing, “he drew a crowd,” highlighting the enthusiasm everyone felt watching him perform.

The opening song from Jewel Thief, named “Jaadu,” was recently unveiled. It presented the main characters in an impressive manner: Saif Ali Khan portrays ‘The Mastermind,’ Nikita Dutta embodies ‘The Dreamer at Heart,’ Jaideep Ahlawat is the ‘Crime Kingpin,’ and Kunal Kapoor takes on the role of ‘The Persistent Police Officer.’

Under the direction of Kookie Gulati and Robbie Grewal, a thrilling heist drama is in the works, financed by Siddharth Anand. This action-packed movie will be available for streaming on Netflix starting April 25, 2025.
