Jewish Students Fight Back Against Campus Antisemitism

For nearly five years, mainstream media outlets chose not to disclose the President’s symptoms resembling dementia. Recently, some of the very journalists who kept this information hidden are publishing revealing books on the subject.

They knew … and they have no shame.

Various news sources have also minimized the alarming surge of antisemitism in Western societies. This is especially disheartening on university campuses, but it’s important to note that this ethical decay has no limits.

Enter a wave of indie documentaries exposing antisemitism in all its insidious forms.

Previously, “Screams Before Silence” allowed the survivors of October 7 to share their heart-wrenching accounts. More recently, “October 8” delved into the spread of intense anti-Israel sentiments that erupted just hours after Hamas’ brutal attack.

In the movie “Torn,” it was depicted where the cloaked specters were tearing down captive notices, some of which bore the pictures of young children being held by Hamas militants.

These motion pictures haven’t garnered significant attention from the media, even though they contain noteworthy themes. The film “Screams Before Silence,” which features the renowned executive Sheryl Sandberg as both its producer and lead actress, has been met with a surprising lack of interest from film reviewers.

The latest documentary reveals hate at the Ivy League level.

Frontline Warriors” pays tribute to three courageous Jewish college students, Shabbos Kestenbaum, Eden Yadegar, and Eli Tsives, who bravely resisted persistent discrimination. As pro-Palestinian protests dramatically altered campus life around them, these individuals stood firm in their convictions.

Instead of being just “peaceful” demonstrations, they frequently escalated into violent situations, disrupted the usual order on college campuses, and fostered an unfriendly atmosphere for Jewish students.

Some Jewish students encountered obstacles that restricted their mobility on campus. Certain points raised in the movie seemed controversial. On numerous occasions, the filmmakers provided evidence to support these contentions.

It’s worth noting that if even a tiny fraction of this hate were targeted at black students, the response from the media would be unyielding and constant.

And rightly so.

Rather than taking action, many college presidents tended to turn a blind eye, as exemplified by three Ivy League university leaders who brought shame upon themselves during their appearance on Capitol Hill the previous year.

In the series “Frontline Warriors”, some professors from colleges were quite vocal with their rhetoric that leaned towards approval of the October 7 attacks.

Let that sink in.

On Sunday evening, the Aish Ha’am documentary was shown at a local Colorado hall. Security personnel were present throughout the building to ensure everyone’s safety, which is not unusual. Playwright Phelim McAleer also recounted similar experiences with his play “October 7.

It’s the new, unsettling normal.

A large portion of the material presented in these movies is likely unfamiliar to many viewers. Certain scenes from “Frontline Warriors” became popular online, yet they failed to air on local news broadcasts.
