As an ardent fan of Bollywood and someone who has followed Alia Bhatt’s career since her debut, I must say that the actress never ceases to amaze me! Her latest collaboration with the Punjabi sensation Diljit Dosanjh in the song Chal Kudiye is nothing short of spectacular. The behind-the-scenes vlog shared by Diljit himself on Instagram was a hilarious treat, and I can’t help but laugh every time I watch Alia’s priceless reactions.
In her latest update, Alia Bhatt, who recently starred in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani (2023), is preparing for a series of upcoming films such as Jigra, Alpha, Love and War, and an unnamed love story. Among these, the film Jigra will be premiering next month. Alia has joined forces with popular Punjabi musician Diljit Dosanjh in the song “Chal Kudiye.” Since its music video release, Diljit has humorously dubbed for Alia in a special Instagram vlog of his, which Alia finds uncontrollably amusing.
September 25 saw Diljit Dosanjh posting a sneak peek of his unique Chal Kudiye vlog on Instagram, where he’s seen alongside Alia Bhatt. The video offers backstage glimpses from the filming set, showing Alia conversing with Diljit during the song recording. In one segment of the vlog, Alia’s expressions are particularly noteworthy. She donned a black t-shirt and paired it with cargo pants, while Diljit opted for an all-white attire during the shoot.

A multitude of online users responded to Diljit Dosanjh’s recent vlog post on Instagram. Remarkably, the official Instagram account of Dharma Productions, who are also involved in the production of Jigra, simply commented, “Just two friends chatting.” In case you didn’t know, Jigra is a film being jointly produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.

On September 17, 2024, the duet “Chal Kudiye,” sung by Diljit Dosanjh and Alia Bhatt, was launched. At its release, filmmaker Karan Johar penned a tribute for the song, stating, “Two powerful forces of nature unite…the crème de la crème! A special acknowledgement to Diljit for his immense talent and for gifting us this treasure.” Notably, “Chal Kudiye” is their second music collaboration following the Club Mix track “Ik Kudi” from Udta Punjab (2016).
In the upcoming film “Jigra,” Alia Bhatt portrays a strong-willed young woman named Satya, with Vedang Raina taking on the role of her brother. The production is overseen by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Alia Bhatt, Shaheen Bhatt, and Soumen Mishra under Dharma Productions and Eternal Sunshine Productions.
