He noted, “You tend to postpone everything until after the Oscars, and then you must complete all that you’ve pledged to finish afterwards.”
“He mentioned that his first hosting period lasted for two years and it was successful. Afterward, he hosted for another two years, which also turned out well. Feeling like he needed a brief rest, he decided to take one.”
He expressed, “I’m completely committed to events such as the Oscars. They’re always on my mind, from morning till night. Whenever I get an idea related to it, I feel compelled to develop it, and then my evening work seems like a hassle.”
Kimmel mentioned that occasionally, the writers for Live With Jimmy Kimmel! get reallocated to pen the Oscars scripts, which can be quite a diversion.
