Jennifer Lopez is already maximizing her time at the Sundance Film Festival.
Jennifer Lopez arrived in Park City, Utah over the weekend, preparing for the world premiere of “Kiss of the Spider Woman,” directed by Bill Condon, at the festival. However, before the screening at the Eccles on Sunday night, Lopez showcased her diverse abilities by spinning tracks at TAO Park City’s DJ booth, demonstrating her skills beyond acting.
Lopez teamed up with DJ Chase B for an unexpected show at a lively Casamigos pop-up event, which turned out to be the go-to place for night owls. Upon arriving at TAO, an insider reported that Lopez was in high spirits. She socialized with friends such as her co-stars Jharrel Jerome from “Unstoppable” and Tonatiuh from “Kiss of the Spider Woman,” and danced along to Chase B’s music selections like “Jenny from the Block” and “Get Right.
Next, there was an unexpected showstopper. Suddenly, Lopez took over the stage for a thrilling 10-minute performance that left the nightclub audience in awe, featuring her popular track “All I Have,” as reported by an inside source.
Lopez’s visit to TAO marked the climax of a two-night event packed with celebrities. The previous night featured a DJ set by Lil Jon, alongside appearances by stars like Post Malone, Niecy Nash-Betts, Jon Hamm, Zach Braff, members from ‘Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’ such as Heather Gay and Whitney Rose, Steven Yeun, Harry Jowsey, Himesh Patel, Scooter Braun, Stephan James, the host of ‘Hot Ones’ Sean Evans, and others. Regarding Lopez’s other venture in Park City, the world premiere for “Kiss of the Spider Woman” takes place on Sunday evening. This film is a fresh take on the 1985 movie and the 1993 Broadway musical starring Chita Rivera, which was based on it. The plot unfolds during Argentina’s Dirty War in the 1980s. In this story, Diego Luna portrays Valentín, a political prisoner who shares his cell with Molina, played by Tonatiuh, a window dresser serving time for public indecency. As they pass their days together, they develop an unexpected friendship as Molina narrates the tale of a popular Hollywood musical featuring his beloved screen icon, Lopez.
