In the latest preview for their upcoming movie, John Krasinski and Natalie Portman embark on a quest to uncover the genuine Fountain of Youth.

Under the direction of Guy Ritchie and with a screenplay written by James Vanderbilt, this tale centers around two siblings joining forces for an extraordinary journey aimed at achieving eternal life.

In the trailer, Krasinski’s character Luke uncertainly phones his sister Charlotte for aid in locating the elusive Fountain of Youth, a place believed to be legendary. “Are things bad?” Charlotte queries during her conversation with Luke before insisting, “You only ring me up when there’s trouble.

The movie features actors like Eiza González and Domhnall Gleeson embarking on a journey that traverses five continents, encompassing numerous cultures throughout the ages, as mentioned in the trailer by Krasinski’s character. Besides them, the cast also includes Arian Moayed, Laz Alonso, Carmen Ejogo, and Stanley Tucci.

In a collaborative arrangement with Vinson Films and Project X Entertainment, Skydance Media was responsible for creating the movie intended for Apple under an initial agreement. David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Don Granger, Tripp Vinson, William Sherak, Paul Neinstein, Ritchie, Ivan Atkinson, and Jake Myers served as producers on this project. Meanwhile, Matt Bettinelli-Olpin, Tyler Gillett, and Chad Villella from Radio Silence took on the role of executive producers.

Significantly, “Fountain of Youth” will follow closely on the heels of Apple and Sykdance’s collaboration for the action-horror fusion titled “The Gorge“, featuring Miles Teller and Anya-Taylor Joy; the horror movie “Mayday” starring Ryan Reynolds and Kenneth Branagh; and “The Family Plan“, spearheaded by Mark Wahlberg.

Fountain of Youth will debut via Apple TV+ on May 23.
