Jonathan Bennett And Lacey Chabert Had A Sweet Mean Girls Reunion On Hallmark, And I’m In My Feels

As a die-hard fan of Lacey Chabert and all things Hallmark, I can confidently say that I am overjoyed at the news of her reunion with Mean Girls co-star Jonathan Bennett! It’s like a dream come true for me, and it brings back so many memories of my teenage years.

Lacey Chabert, known as the queen of Hallmark, gets a chance to meet up with some old colleagues again, which always turns out delightful. Some of these actors are her peers from the same network, while others are those she’s collaborated with under different production companies. Currently, Chabert is working on another project for the 2024 TV lineup and has managed to arrange yet another reunion. In this case, she will be teaming up with Jonathan Bennett, her co-star from “Mean Girls,” in an exciting segment that’s making me emotional.

Jonathan Bennett, well-known in the Hallmark family, had previously shown interest in collaborating with Lacey Chabert for one of their movies. Although they haven’t worked together on a movie yet, they have joined forces for an unexpected project. Lacey Chabert is currently engaged in a unique endeavor for the entertainment company, titled “Celebrations with Lacey Chabert“, where she organizes celebrations for individuals who have significantly contributed to their communities. Recently, Hallmark+ posted a heartwarming video on Instagram showcasing these two former co-stars reuniting for the series, and their camaraderie is truly noticeable.

20 years after the release of “Mean Girls,” the star of “Spamalot” expressed that he immediately appears when Lacey Chabert calls, demonstrating the strong bond between them. Chabert recounted their initial meeting on the set of the Tina Fey-written teen comedy and how they’ve been cherished friends ever since. Although they didn’t share many scenes in the iconic 2004 movie, it’s evident that they spent enough time together to forge a lasting friendship. I can hardly contain my feelings of nostalgia as I think about this heartwarming connection.

In the comedy movie starring Lindsay Lohan, Chabert portrayed Gretchen Wieners, the deputy of Regina George’s Plastics clique. On the other hand, Bennett assumed the character of school heartthrob Aaron Samuels. It’s more than just remembered that these actors played their roles; they are deeply associated with them.

At the start of the year, Jonathan Bennett expressed his desire for a Christmas movie with Lacey Chabert. Although their project might not turn out to be a full-fledged movie, it’s still an adorable collaboration. I’m crossing my fingers that this could increase the chances of them starring together in a Hallmark production. If they do, fans of “Mean Girls” like me would undoubtedly be thrilled – and honestly, I can’t wait for it to become a reality!

Given their ongoing association with Hallmark, there’s a likelihood they might collaborate on a future scripted project. Fingers crossed that happens! Meanwhile, I’m excited about the prospect of Celebrations, which could potentially surpass a film in charm, as fans get to witness their heartwarming interactions beyond roles they play.

Don’t miss the reunion of Lacey Chabert and Jonathan Bennett, coming up on “Celebrations with Lacey Chabert” this Thursday, exclusively on Hallmark+. For those who share my longing for the good old days of “Mean Girls”, you can stream that movie using a Paramount+ subscription.
