Josh Wolf has a new home at Activist Artists Management.
The accomplished individual with diverse talents has joined forces with the agency, where they’ll be managed by a trio: Bernie Cahill, Caitlin Stone Jasper, and Grant Pennel from Activist.
The news arrives as Wolf is traveling for his High in Life tour at the moment. He’ll be performing at Magooby’s Joke House in Timonium, Maryland this weekend, followed by a stop next week at Jimmy Kimmel’s Comedy Club in Las Vegas. The tour runs until June 21, but he has an important event scheduled for April 2 at Zanies comedy Club in Nashville, where he’ll record his upcoming stand-up special. This special is expected to combine comedy and music, with a roster of guest performers. The production company Thousand Percent, led by Avery Pearson and Jeremiah Watkins, is behind the special, which is anticipated for release later this year. This will mark Wolf’s fourth stand-up special in six years, and his most recent one since 2024’s Four Stories.
Bernie Cahill, a founding partner at Activist Artists Management, stated that “Josh is exceptionally adaptable and full of energy among the top comedians currently active.” Josh has demonstrated his versatility from his early work on Chelsea Lately to his popular podcast and worldwide tours. His humor connects with people in all areas of his work. We’re thrilled to collaborate with him as he grows, explores new creative horizons, and brings laughter to many more.
Stone Jasper, my partner and head of activism, commented: “Josh and I go way back, more than ten years. I’ve always been impressed by Josh’s creativity, his go-getter attitude, and how he seamlessly blends music into comedy. With our comedy department growing steadily at Activist, we are excited to have him join as a client. Our team is eager to jump in and pool our energies together to elevate his business even further.
Initially, Josh Wolf gained attention for his comedy skills on Chelsea Handler’s shows, “Chelsea Lately” and “After Lately.” Later, he took the lead in creating and hosting his own shows, “The Josh Wolf Show” and “Josh Wolf’s Wonderful World of Weird.” Currently, Josh Wolf co-hosts the podcast “Hey Maaan,” which stands out in its genre due to its distinctive family dynamic, as he hosts it alongside his comedian son, Jacob Wolf.
