In 2024, it’s clear that JT left a significant impact. She released a series of strong singles throughout the year, and finally stepped into the spotlight with her inaugural studio album titled “City Cinderella,” solidifying herself as a formidable presence in rap music. Now, JT is back once more with another empowering hip-hop track, “Ran Out,” which serves as her first release since her breakout debut.
According to a press statement, the 2 minutes and 22 seconds long release marks a new era for JT. This is following her performance alongside Doechii at the conclusion of DSquared2’s Fall/Winter 2025 Runway show during Milan Fashion Week.
She sings a lively tune with lyrics like, “I’m earning money, I’m not broke (Shake your body, girl) / My friends are dancing and asking for favors (Earn some cash, girl) / What’s this argument about? You were asking for help before (Make them angry, girl),” on the memorable chorus.
The single is accompanied by its official music video, which was directed by INDIANA420BITCH, who has previously worked with the Kardashians and Playboi Carti. In the video, JT delivers the song’s verses from the bed of a pickup truck and the backseat of a car, surrounded by her friends, including Gabriette and Quen Blackwell.
