They’ve Both Had To Do The Same Thing
In this situation, June and Moira are caught by a guardian from Gilead who tries to sexually assault Moira. It’s a distressing event, but fortunately, they manage to defend themselves. The aftermath involves the guardian’s death, leaving them in need of a strategy to hide his body.
In the sixth season, both June and Nick find themselves in a comparable predicament as they were compelled to eliminate guards from Gilead’s security unit. This unfortunate turn of events has led to increased pressure and encirclement for them.
In The Handmaid’s Tale season 6, episode 5, it becomes apparent that Nick has killed Toby. However, his troubles are far from over as Commander Wharton seems to have his suspicions. These doubts might not be easily dispelled because it’s unlikely that Wharton would consider it a mere coincidence that Toby died after being on the path to recovery, especially since Nick had visited him in the hospital around that time.
In June’s case, things change dramatically when she, along with Moira, fail to escape with Luke and Rita in the van. Instead, they are compelled to hide in Commander Lawrence’s vehicle. This puts June in a similar predicament as Nick, finding herself trapped within Gilead once more.

What Will Happen When They Meet Again?
In the earlier episodes of season 6 of “The Handmaid’s Tale,” June told Nick that they weren’t saying goodbye; instead, it was just a “see you later.” This prediction now appears to be accurate. It seems Lawrence is transporting June and Moira to New Bethlehem, his residence, where it’s highly likely that they will encounter Serena Joy once again. Additionally, given Nick’s significant involvement in New Bethlehem, there’s a good chance he will also be part of their reunion.
