Justin Baldoni Pens Letter to Domestic Violence Survivors: “You Are Never Alone in This Fight”

As a seasoned gamer who has seen more movie plots than I can count, I have to say that the ongoing saga of Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively feels like a Hollywood blockbuster unfolding right before our eyes. The rumors of an alleged rift on the set of “It Ends With Us” are as captivating as any action-packed sequence, keeping us guessing with every new twist and turn.

Justin Baldoni, director and lead actor of “It Ends With Us”, continues to advocate for survivors of domestic violence.

Baldoni expressed a heartfelt message on Instagram, penning a long tribute to survivors, acknowledging and appreciating their resilience in overcoming challenges, even during the toughest times.

He started by acknowledging that you possess qualities such as resilience and bravery, which stand out even on the gloomiest days. In the intricate pattern of your life story, each detail represents an account of perseverance, power, and optimism. Each stride you make, no matter how minor, is a testament to your unwavering determination and serves as motivation for others.

He went on to explain that although survivors might not always recognize the influence they exert on those nearby, their personal experiences serve as a beacon of encouragement and motivation. This trailblazing journey illuminates the way for anyone else who is still on the quest for guidance or enlightenment.

“Although I can’t experience your struggles and hardships firsthand, let me assure you that you’re never fighting this battle alone,” he penned down. “We stand by your side. It’s not just that you’re surviving, but you’re flourishing, and in doing so, you’re a beacon of inspiration for us all. May your path ahead be graced with tranquil moments. And remember, as you strive for happiness, you are not only finding it for yourself, but you’re also freeing us all.”

Following whispers about a supposed disagreement between him and his “Gossip Girl” co-star Blake Lively during the production of the movie adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s novel “It Ends With Us,” the main actor from “Jane the Virgin” released a letter. The internet buzzed with speculation that the stars might have had a disagreement due to the scarcity of joint interviews and photos they shared in the lead-up to the film’s release, which only served to stoke the flames of rumor. Fuel was added to the fire when it was noticed that neither Lively, Hoover, nor any other cast members from the movie followed Baldoni on Instagram, even though he follows them.

Despite persistent whispers of a dispute, Baldoni brought on board experienced crisis public relations manager Melissa Nathan. While Hoover and Sony publicly expressed their backing for Lively, they remained silent regarding the actor-director pair who had tirelessly worked for five years to bring this adaptation into reality.

Users on social media have sparked debates between Baldoni and Lively, as some spectators suggest the former Gossip Girl cast members were humorously endorsing a film dealing with a heavy topic like domestic violence. Simultaneously, rumors emerged about Baldoni creating an uneasy work environment that left Lively and certain other actors feeling distant on set.

Although a sequel to “It Ends With Us” titled “It Starts With Us” has been published, there is uncertainty about whether or not a movie adaptation of the second novel in Colleen Hoover’s series will be made due to reported tension between the film’s leading actors.

Previously, sources had revealed to The Hollywood Reporter that two different versions of the film had been created – one by the actress from ‘A Simple Favor’, and another by Baldoni. The version currently in cinemas is said to be Lively’s. Interestingly, both Lively and the director have hinted that a sequel might not be immediately on the cards, but if it were, Lively expressed her readiness to step behind the camera and direct it.
