K-Pop Company KQ Entertainment Sets Multi-Year Strategic Partnership with AEG Presents

On Wednesday morning, it was announced that KQ Entertainment, known as the base for K-Pop sensation ATEEZ, and AEG Presents have agreed to a long-term collaborative deal between the two companies.

Under the agreement, AEG will manage all global touring events for K-pop group ATEEZ. They previously collaborated with the hit band on the North American segment of their latest world tour, Towards The Light: Will To Power. This tour included stops at L.A.’s BMO Stadium, Globe Life Field in Texas, and New York’s Citi Field, all of which were sold out. The North American leg of the tour attracted over 200,000 attendees, as stated in a press release.

Over the past year, the eight-piece boy band has been keeping quite busy. They made history by becoming the first K-Pop boy group to perform at Coachella and achieved their second No. 1 single with their latest release, titled “Golden Hour: Part 2“. The vocalists behind “Ice on My Teeth”, who recently wrapped up a sold-out European leg of their world tour, were honored with the iHeartRadio Music award for K-Pop artist of the year on Monday night. To add to their success, group member Seonghwa made his runway debut during Isabel Marant’s Paris Fashion Week show.

ATEEZ, KQ Entertainment’s debut idol group, continues to be the company’s biggest act. Alongside them are rising boy group xikers and producers Eden and Maddox, who are also under the same label. In the year 2019, ATEEZ joined forces with RCA Records in the United States.

It fills me with immense pride to witness KQ’s expansion,” ATEEZ member Yunho expressed to The Hollywood Reporter during the promotional period for their Coachella show. “Knowing that we played a part in this development… it truly humbles me.
