As a gamer who’s been living in the digital world of K-Pop for quite some time now, I can’t help but feel a twinge of envy when I see Stray Kids gracing the iconic New York City skyline for Tommy Hilfiger‘s Fall 2024 campaign. The energy they radiate, the style they embody, it’s a sight to behold, even from my gaming chair!
The popular K-Pop group Stray Kids are back working alongside Tommy Hilfiger for their Fall 2024 advertising project.
Recently, the eight-member K-pop band, managed by JYP Entertainment, was snapped against the famous backdrop of the New York City skyline. This advertising campaign showcases the group sporting contemporary preppy styles, a hallmark of Tommy Hilfiger’s fashion line.
“Stray Kids referred to Tommy Hilfiger as an American fashion legend in their statement. Every time they visit, his classic preppy aesthetic makes them feel comfortable and optimistic, giving them the sense that anything can be achieved.”
The collective (consisting of Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N) expressed their enthusiasm, saying: “We can’t wait for our fans to witness us at the pinnacle in this renowned New York advertising campaign.”
The new marketing effort is all about celebrating the idea that there’s no place quite like home, particularly New York City, as stated in a brand announcement. According to Tommy Hilfiger, the founder, New York City’s skyline serves as the perfect backdrop for a memorable pop culture event. For our latest collaboration with Stray Kids, we elevated them to new heights, and photographing them above the city that has always inspired me is an excellent way to showcase their unique style, which perfectly reflects the dynamic vibe of New York City.
The collection, reminiscent of the city deemed as the cradle of traditional American fashion by the brand, offers a blend of relaxed sportswear with a fresh take on timeless shapes. Notable pieces from this lineup include a revamped wool coat, an expanded puffer jacket, pea coats, bomber jackets inspired by varsity themes, sleek Chelsea boots, and other essential prep items.
The Fall 2024 campaign for Tommy Hilfiger is not their debut; they’ve already been featured in the brand’s Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 campaigns previously. Furthermore, they graced the Met Gala red carpet with Hilfiger this year, standing out as the top contenders of the evening.
Stray Kids recently unveiled their newest album titled “ATE” that has secured them their fifth consecutive No.1 position on the Billboard 200 chart. The music video for the main single from this album, “Chk Chk Boom,” showcased brief appearances by Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman in their iconic roles as Deadpool and Wolverine. It was revealed last month that Stray Kids would contribute a new song, “Slash,” to the upcoming movie’s soundtrack.
