đ Kaia-Powered Mini Dapps Take Asia by Storm! đ
Well, shucks, folks! It seems like Kaia, that fancy Layer 1 blockchain, has been makin’ some big waves in Asia. They’ve been workin’ on them Kaia-powered Mini Dapps and Dapp Portal within LINE Messenger, and it’s been a regular ol’ stampede!
Over 35 million users have joined the party, spendin’ a whoppin’ $2 million on in-app purchases across crypto-savvy countries like Japan, Thailand, Taiwan, and Korea. That’s a whole lotta ka-ching, if you know what I mean! đ¤
The LINE Mini Dapp Portal’s got all sorts of goodies, like high-ranking games, stores, health and fitness apps, and social metadata platforms. It’s like a one-stop shop for all your Web3 needs!
Kaia DLT Foundation’s been workin’ hard to expand the Kaia blockchain ecosystem, and it looks like they’ve hit the jackpot. The Kaia-powered Mini Dapps on LINE NEXT Inc. have been makin’ waves since their launch last month, and now they’ve got over 35 million users and a cool $2 million in in-app sales. That’s a whole lotta progress, if you ask me!
It’s no surprise that the Asian market’s been the main driver of this growth, since it’s home to the largest spenders in the global in-app purchases market. And with the likes of Japan, Thailand, Taiwan, and Korea on board, it’s a regular ol’ Web3 party!
Dr. Sam Seo, Chairman of Kaia DLT Foundation, is mighty pleased with the progress they’ve made. “Our remarkable achievements in just one month showcase how a blockchain ecosystem can drive profitable growth while enhancin’ scalability,” he said. “Aiming to deliver the best of Web3 to Asian users, Kaia will continue to evolve by collaboratin’ with exceptional builders and partners worldwide.”
A Budding Ecosystem on Mini Dapps and Dapps Portal
Since launchin’ in late January, Mini Dapps has become the home of over 30 Dapps, including Web 3 games, healthcare and wellness apps, prediction apps, and a gamified social metadata platform, among others. The Mini Dapps platform has seen massive adoption rates across Asia, primarily in Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, and Korea. While these Dapps have attracted millions of users within the past month, the most astonishing milestone is the generated in-app sales – reachin’ $2 million.
These data validate Kaia and LINE NEXT’s strategy to cater to Asian consumers, who are the largest contributors to the global in-app purchase (IAP) market, spendin’ 40% more than other regions.
âWe are seein’ explosive growth from all the regions where LINE is prevalent,â said Youngsu Ko, CEO of LINE NEXT. “This proves that we are now ready to popularize Web3, and as Dapps are plannin’ to list their tokens, we expect to further expand our user base.â
The Dapp Portal on LINE Messenger is also positively impactin’ the Web3 user growth rates across the Kaia blockchain ecosystem. According to data collected in February, the Kaia chain has adopted over 7.37 million newly created digital wallets, markin’ a 1,168% increase, with Dapp Portal alone facilitatin’ 3 million new wallets. This has driven the Kaia chain to the top of the EVM blockchain charts, rankin’ third in terms of active wallet addresses. Monthly transactions on Kaia also rose 124% to 27.38 million, while the number of on-chain active users skyrocketed 252% to 8.1 million.
Kaia Announces Key Focus on Web3 PaymentsÂ
Kaia’s a leading, high-performance blockchain that aims to revolutionize consumer-facing Web3 businesses, with a deep focus on Asia. The platform, built through a merger of the Klaytn and Finschia blockchains that were initially developed by Kakao and LINE, respectively, has grown into Asiaâs largest Web3 ecosystem through the integration with the Kakaotalk and LINE messengers.Â
Now, the platform’s lookin’ to expand its offerings to Web3 payment infrastructure. A joint effort between Kaia and LINE NEXT, the Mini Dapp platform aims to deliver a seamless Web 2.0-like UX and easy Dapp discovery via Dapp Portal. All this will be facilitated via the LINE Messenger app, which boasts nearly 200 million users.Â
Via the collaboration with LINE, Kaia will integrate crypto/fiat payment options in the Dapp Portal, which will further facilitate hybrid business models that combine the strengths of Web2âs established F2P and IAP models with Web3âs liquid digital assets. This is expected to offer a unique opportunity for Mini Dapps to build sustainable revenue streams to go beyond token generation events, transaction fees, and volatile token price action.
Notwithstanding, Kaia has plans to enhance its own payments infrastructure, beginnin’ with the launch of a native USD stablecoin on the Kaia network. These improvements will not only streamline builder settlements using $KAIA and stablecoins converted from fiat revenues. This will help facilitate blockchain-based digital payment solutions that are seamlessly integrated with Asiaâs leading messaging superapps.
