‘Kaiju No. 8’ Season 2 To Release in Summer 2025

The confirmation that Season 2 is finally dropping in 2025 has sent me into a whirlwind of anticipation. In simple terms, Toho Animation has announced that the long-awaited second season of the popular anime, Kaiju No.8, is set to debut in the summer of 2025.

A new trailer for Kaiju No. 8’s Season 1 compilation film andHoshina’s Day Off – an upcoming special episode was revealed alongside a new teaser visual at the Jump Fest 2025 event over the weekend.

The freshly released trailer highlights Gen Narumi, the Commander of the Defense Force’s First Division, with the slogan “Demonstrating Strength” revealed, generating excitement for the approaching season.

Japanese theaters will screen a three-week run for both the compilation film of the anime’s first season and an exclusive special episode, beginning on March 28, 2025. Moreover, the latest trailer has given a sneak peek at “Invincible,” the new theme song for the anime, performed by OneRepublic.

Kaiju No.8 Season 2 is confirmed to release in July 2025.
